‘Eyescrapers’ is een installatie die de bezoekers en voorbijgangers bekijkt en bewondert in plaats van andersom. Als je een object ogen geeft, krijgt het een eigen blik en daarmee een persoonlijkheid. Één oog doet al leven vermoeden. Elke oogbeweging is een getuigenis van een eigen wil. De compositie van dit werk is in constante staat van verandering. Al draaiend, zwermt hun blikveld over de hele kade. Dit kunstwerk kijkt en wordt bekeken.

Front404 is een kunstenaarsduo uit Utrecht dat sinds 2010 voornamelijk interactieve installaties en street art maakt, met als voornaamste doel om de wereld een speelsere plek te maken.

‘Eyescrapers’ is an installation that looks at and admires the visitors and passersby, rather than the other way around. When you give eyes to an object, it gains its own gaze and thus a personality. A single eye already suggests life. Every eye movement is a testimony to its own will. The composition of this work is in a constant state of change. As they rotate, their field of vision swarms over the entire quay.

Front404 is an artist duo from Utrecht that has been creating mainly interactive installations and street art since 2010, with the primary goal of making the world a more playful place.
